Management host

  • Operating system: Requires Windows Server x64 as management host, on which the Desktop Admin console is installed. A Windows client operating system is also possible.
  • Hardware: At least 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM. Recommended are 4 vCPU and 8 GB RAM.
  • Storage: An SSD is recommended. TLSPilot requires about 5 GB of free disk space, plus several GB for data, logs and backups.
  • Software prerequisites: .NET 10 (LTS) is included self-contained in the setup (win-x64), so no separate runtime installation is required.
  • Administrative rights: Requires elevated rights (UAC) to run the Desktop Admin console and the Initial Setup Wizard.
  • Installation: TLSPilot installs two Windows services, iTrain TLSPilot Mgmt Service (automation) and iTrain TLSPilot WebService (WebUI), and its own certificate store, and stores all data under %ProgramData%\iTrain\TLSPilot. This location cannot be changed, and the data is retained during upgrades. Create a backup before every upgrade, see chapter Backup and restore. For details, see chapter Setup.
