Limitations

Almost all functions of the Desktop Admin console are also available in the WebUI, with three exceptions:

  • Helper scripts: The WebUI cannot start helper scripts, as all communication runs through the management host. You can view and copy them with Show script… and run them in a PowerShell session.

  • TLS Explorer: The TLS Explorer in the menu Tools is available only in the Desktop Admin console, see chapter Tools: documentation and TLS Explorer.
  • Service restart: In the WebUI, the menu Service only contains Run deployment & health cycle now. The management service and the WebUI service cannot be restarted via the menu Service of the WebUI. Restart them in the Desktop Admin console with Service, Restart management service… or Restart Web UI service…, or in services.msc.
