Tools: documentation and TLS Explorer

Generate documentation

Choose Tools, Generate documentation… to export a live inventory of this host, in the Desktop Admin console and in the WebUI. Under Areas, select what to include: Host / Settings, Certificates, Credentials, RBAC and Alert channels / profiles. Under Format, select PDF or Excel (.xlsx), click Generate and save the file. Secrets such as passwords, tokens, PEMs and webhook URLs are never included.

TLS Explorer

Choose Tools, TLS Explorer… to scan a subnet from this host for TLS certificates in use. The scan is read-only and changes nothing on the scanned systems. It detects certificates in use in the network; certificates found are not taken over into TLSPilot automatically. Enter the Network ID and the Subnet mask, the Ports (comma-separated, 1–65535), by default 443, and optionally an SNI host (optional), which is used when the handshake by IP address fails and reverse DNS returns no name. Click Run. The result lists IP, hostname, port, SNI, TLS version, cipher, CN, SANs, issuer, validity, thumbprint and errors, and can be saved with Export CSV… or Export PDF…; the TLS Explorer is available only in the Desktop Admin console.
