Articles in this category

  1. 13.1

Change the issuer or name of a certificate

TLSPilot does not take over certificates that were created outside TLSPilot. To manage such a certificate, issue it again in TLSPilot and deploy it to the targets, which replaces the existing certificate.

  2. 13.2

    Delete a certificate

Right-click the certificate and choose Delete… To revoke the certificate at the same time, switch on Also revoke at the issuing CA and select the Revocation reason.

  3. 13.3

    Versions of a certificate

Each renewal creates a new version of the certificate. To see the versions, double-click the certificate and open the tab Details.

  4. 13.4

    Revoke a certificate

You revoke a single version of a certificate on the tab Details.

  5. 13.5

    Renew a certificate early

To renew a certificate before its renewal window is reached, right-click it and choose Force renew… TLSPilot contacts the issuing CA even if the certificate is valid.

  6. 13.6

Roll back to a previous version

If a new version causes problems, you can return to a retained previous version that is neither revoked nor expired and has no pending revocation.
